More than 100 members of the dietetic community came together to share research, recognise excellence and explore how nutrition evidence can shape clinical practice and improve patient care.

Research Highlights

Improving access to cancer dietetics

Research presented at the symposium highlighted variation in access to dietetic services across cancer care and explored opportunities for improved workforce planning and integration within oncology pathways.

Embedding nutrition within stroke care

Findings highlighted a high burden of modifiable nutrition-related risk factors and explored the role of nutrition within stroke care and secondary prevention strategies.

Strengthening

texture-modified diets

Research identified opportunities to improve the nutritional adequacy of texture-modified diets, supporting consideration of structured menu planning and future guidance development within long-term care settings.
