Lorraine is a specialist gastroenterology dietitian and works predominantly in the management of IBS and other disorders of the gut-brain interaction. She works at the Blackrock Clinic, where she runs the Gut Health Clinic. Lorraine holds a BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and MSc in Dietetics. She is Low FODMAP (fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols) diet accredited and co-author of Gut Feeling, a Low FODMAP reference guide and recipe book. She guest lectures in IBD and IBS and is Chair of the Gastro Interest Group of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute.
